More About Rosacea And Different Ways To Cure It
By RobertCampbell
Rocasea is a condition that more often affects adults especially women at the ages of 30 to 50 years. Also referred to as acne rocasea, this condition can be a very serious infection and normally affects facial parts such as the nose, the forehead, cheeks or the chin. What causes this condition has not yet been established although various health experts point enlargement of the blood vessels in the face due to blood and heart related complications as the main cause.

Research indicates that rosacea is hereditary. This means that it can run down the family tree if your parents or their parents were victims of the same disorder. There are three well known forms of rosacea. The first subtype is called Erythematotelangiectatic Rosacea in which there is permanent flushing or redness and those affected blush easily. There can be some itching or burning sensation on the skin and sometimes tiny blood vessels are visible. The other is Papulopustular Rosacea in which there is permanent redness accompanied with re bumps containing pus.

In most cases, many people confuse it with acne. The third subtype is called Phymatous Rosacea and its symptoms include an enlarged nose. Small blood vessels can be seen at the skin surface thickening

the affected skin. It also affects other places including the ears and eyelids. The last one is Ocular Rosacea in which eyes and eyelids become dry, red and are irritating.

The other strain, Papulopustular Rosacea, brings about extreme redness in the face and ugly bumps that sometimes contain pus are its most poignant symptoms. The last of the three is known as Phymatous Rosacea. This enlarges the nose and can bring about a humbling experience in public. The skin becomes inflamed and blood vessels become visible through the skin. The skin thus thickens and other affected areas are eyelids and the ears. Another strain though not very common is Ocular Rosacea which mainly affects the eyes and they become dry, red and very uncomfortable.

Although it is believed that there is no actual treatment of rocasea, the issue remains one of the most debatable health treatments among various experts. However, if the symptoms of rocasea are diagnosed earlier the condition can easily be contained. There are other numerous practices that you can adhere to make sure that you are safe from rocasea infection. For instance, it is advisable to stay away from extremely cold weather condition which is believed to be one of the major causes of the disorder.
