Anti Wrinkle Cream For Men, Are Men Less Masculine These Days?
By Carol Truesdale
One of the biggest problems modern men face is having a narrow view of masculinity. Men get tugged in every direction it seems when it comes to defining manhood. Should you be like your father and deal with everything in life in a calm macho silence? Or do you seek out new ways of dealing with things, asking for help, and trying to improve yourself?

I think it’s best to do some of both.

Take, for example, anti wrinkle cream for men. A lot of men, young and old, are using skin creams for the first time in their lives. Companies have developed entire skincare lines exclusively for men. Is this a good thing? Well, the answer is somewhere in the middle; let’s take a look at each side.

First, the “no” side. Obsessing over beauty is a destructive trend for men. Until now, the measure of a man has always only been about achievement. That’s what men respect. Using a men’s wrinkle cream to make the skin on your face smooth is not an achievement. It’s an indulgence.

Instead, men should focus on creating new things, taking on new physical challenges, and just generally being good at what they do. That’s how men stay happy and sexy. Sitting around worrying about how old you look is unmanly. Even if you got rid of all your wrinkles with a men’s wrinkle cream, how would that make you feel?

I’m

guessing it wouldn’t make you feel near as good as building a successful business, completing a 10K race, or leading a volunteer project.

Now, the “yes” side. Taking an interest in skin health is an encouraging trend for men. Traditionally, men have always gone to the doctor less often than women. And they die younger too. So any sign that men want to take better care of their bodies is a positive one.

Adding an anti wrinkle cream for men to your morning regimen is not a big deal. You brush your teeth every morning to keep them clean and healthy. Why can’t you apply a skin cream to keep your face looking young and healthy? I don’t see any difference.

Looking young is a big psychological part of feeling young. If you look in the mirror and see bags under your eyes, wrinkles, and saggy jowls, it can dent your confidence. Men have as much right to “looking good” as women do. And they feel just as much inner joy when someone finds them physically attractive.

Those are two valid arguments.

Now you have to decide for yourself how you feel about using a men’s wrinkle cream. If you do want to improve your skin’s appearance, be careful about which skin cream you choose. At my website, I discuss the best and worst ingredients to look for in an anti wrinkle cream for men.
